Squeezelite - no album art and loss of other functions

Squeezelite display on WiiM Ultra suddenly no longer displaying album art or progress. Has been working fine up to yesterday morning.
All other services I've tried (Radio Paradise, BBC radios) display artwork no problem
Have rebooted the unit, powered it off and on, but still no artwork. Vu meter displays fine.

Also using the Ultra as a Squeezelite player control screen does nothing, cannot skip a track or pause/stop a track. (Works fine using an attached USB drive).

I only bought this unit because of it's ability to be an LMS/Squeezelite endpoint. I have no interest whatsoever in any of the other streaming services that the WiiM unit offers.

As mentioned in your linked post, it’s fine for me on LMS 8.4 and the latest Ultra firmware, although I don’t see the artwork in the iPad app while it’s fine on my android phone.

Hopefully WiiM will respond to the ticket you’ve raised and identify the issue from your device logs.

I have the same issue, and submitted a ticket. They've just told me the fix is complete, but not yet pushed to us in a released firmware.

Just had an email saying they're looking into it, they're not saying it's fixed yet. :(

For any new issue Wiim generally says "We are looking into it" first, almost as a matter of routine. So don't despair. While Wiim hasn't fixed every issue I've put up an issue for, when they've told me something is fixed/done, it's so far always been true.

Wiim just pushed 5.2.630347 to my Wiim Ultra, and a quick check shows it as having resolved the issue.
