Strange behavior when switching Wi-Fi local UPnP to line-in Plex/Symphonium

Folks,

This is racking my head! I first noticed this over a month ago. It keeps happening and I don't know why.

When I power up my Ultra and stream local files via Plex Media Server, via Symphonium app on my android phone, sent to Ultra via UPnP it works a treat!

Then when I switch input to "line-in" somehow the music from Symphonium (same album) keeps playing. I try toggling inputs to no avail. The only solution is to reboot the Ultra.

What is going on here?

When switching inputs WiiM issues a UPnP STOP action, which, in certain scenarios, tells third party controllers to advance to the next track. A request was made to instead issue a PAUSE, but the reply wasn't promising (not sure they understood).

Symfonium implemented a workaround that can be enabled in the Ultra's settings panel: UPnP: Stop casting on external changes

Thank you. I will have to try this later this evening. That being said, I'm confused, Symfonium's work-around was deployed w/in the Ultra's settings? Wouldn't that be a WiiM work-around?
