So. I'm running my Sub and main speakers without crossover. Both full range. Getting the most incredibly powerful sound. Running with crossover sounds anemic by comparison. Is what I am enjoying just bass bloat?

If you have a microphone, measure the response with REW.

I don't really know what I am looking at but the graphs look pretty wild to me! You have to turn the sub off for left and right.
This is stereo with sub.
I was thinking more of just looking at the measured response showing the actual measurement and the proposed correction rather than the PEQ filters. Having said that it does show a massive peak around 60Hz.

This certainly won't be the case, but until you hear a subwoofer that's really well integrated into your listening system, it's easy to get stuck in something that's not quite right, something "my-fi" and find that the correct situation is vastly better.
Generally speaking, it's also a waste to overlap sub and speakers, it doesn't relief them from power hungry and distorsion making frequencies and it's easy to front more phase interferences.
Much better to rely on even automatic room correction, especially under 400Hz and wait in order to "educate" own listening attitude...😎
