Sub pro too quiet with wired connection to audiopro c20 (non-w version)

I received my WiiM sub pro today. I am very new to the home audio world. I have a wired connection due to the lack of a W version of the audiopro c20. The bass is somewhat noticeable when turning it off and on, but it’s very subtle. When I run the room fit test the base is reasonably loud. Perhaps I have unreal expectations of what a subwoofer should do for my sound. I have tried to turn off sound limiters on my phone. There aren’t any in the WiiM app that I can find.

Any other suggestions to get the bass level up a bit?

If the wiim app doesn't provide volume / gain options for the sub when wired then one possible option is a line level booster in between the c20 and sub.
What does the audio pro app provide?

Perhaps I have unreal expectations of what a subwoofer should do for my sound.

Maybe?
Some would say it's supposed to integrate seemlessly with the sound, not about doof doof.
