The competition doesn't sleep

I once talked to a guy from the distribution. He told me that their biggest problem is that people too often google "Acrylic" instead.

This explains why they are now using new software.
Exactly, the app looks definitely different now. And neither the web page nor the pictures nor the user manual for the LP100 clearly state what it can do or may be supposed to do at some later point in time.

What the pictures tell us: You can adjust the treble, the mids, the bass and ... well, then the treble again (in case you changed your mind since making the first setting). :P

I'll confess, I do like the looks ... but even the Ultra small form factor appears impractical to me. Unlikely those who have highly resolving systems I'd prefer a built-in power supply.

According to the specs the LP100 is really tiny at just 167 X 167 X 43,5 mm. This makes me think when we are going to see this matching AI turntable from Auralyriac:

The plinth must be something like 230 X 175 X 43.5 cm. It's obviously optimised for playing the good old 5.7" vinyl.

Joking aside (it's them joking, I didn't create any of these pictures) the biggest problem could really be the software.

Let's wait and see. The list price is ambitious.

It has a Treble Balance function, clearly; Yin Treble and Yang Treble separately adjustable.

Also, the thing must have been tested with extremely high-gain amps downstream since they had to cap max volume to just 15%.

...the app doesn't seem to be very popular with users...

no-one touches WiiM for the ease of use options. I don't even touch the WiiM app and I can use every function I need.
If ever do need the app, it's excellent, has a tonne of features and doesn't lag.
