Hello, I've been having problems with TidalConnect since last week. I have a Wiim Mini and a Wiim Ultra, and they both crash every so often. It seems like there's a buffering problem.
Given that the WiiM Mini’s firmware hasn’t been updated since around the 11h of April, almost two months ago, that might suggest that it’s more a Tidal or network issue than a WiiM issue.

And as said before, Tidal app and Tidal on WiiM (latest versions on Ultra and Pro+) is working without issues for me (in Denmark) on all resolutions.

Seems to be related to some regions only. So yes, a Tidal issue.

I have a Wiim Ultra on a mini.

They always worked perfectly, but not anymore.

I tested it again a few moments ago.

I have Spotify, Tidal and Qobuz accounts.

Conclusions:

Wiim Ultra Tidal Connect does not work, it plays for a few minutes and then stops.

Tidal via Wiim Home, the same thing, it works for a few minutes and then stops.

Spotify Connect Works normally.

Qobuz Connect plays 10 seconds of each track and skips to the next one.

Qobuz via Wiim Home works normally.

I'm going to do the same tests tonight on the Wiim Mini, then I'll post them here.

I’d logout of the Qobuz app and log back in with the same details as used in the WiiM Home app Qobuz page and try Connect again - 10 sec playback sounds like it doesn’t recognise you’re a subscriber.

It is a tidal sever side issue: here for more info

Hello friend. I deleted the logins and logged in again, I tested it on the mini. Qobuz doesn't even find the mini to play via connect. Only via Wiim Home.

I tested it with the mini and the same thing happens. Tidal Connect doesn't work, not even via Wiim Home.

I'm having the same issue as @Melomane : I can connect to Tidal thru WHA but Tidal won't connect to the Wiim Pro. Latest fw on the Wiim and latest Tidal app on my Pixel 8. Would love to use the Tidal app as it is more full featured.

Update: I tried Tidal Connect from the Windows 10 app to the Wiim Pro and it worked as expected. The Windows 10 pc is using ethernet while my phone is using the home WiFi of course.

Do we have a problem with Ios/iphone?
If you're still having Tidal Connect issues I recommend using the feedback function in WHA to inform Wiim Support. They're really good at responsiveness. Some of the suggestions they gave me (which I didn't have to do as TC started working on its own) was to check to see if I had the latest version of the app, force close it/clear cache. Don't know iOS so this may be irrelevant for your case.
