Tidal connect slow track skipping

I have Wiim Pro (last firmaware) and native Tidal app on adroid phone.

I notice that every time when track is skipping/swiching it takes to up 10 seconds.

I can confirm, it also takes a while for the next track to load and start playing after switching when listening via TIDAL Conect. I have a feeling it has to do with the constant improvement and addition of streamer features and therefore more CPU load. But could I be wrong...? Skipping was definitely faster before!!!

So, is this really different from just using Tidal.o your phone? Can you reproduce the error by connecting and disconnecting to the WiiM?

Pro running 20240904 build (latest?), Tidal app / Tidal connect.
Skipping tracks in either direction using either tidal or wiim app, maybe a 2 sec delay.

Hi, I did the testing. Tidal playback on mobile: after skipping to the next track, playback starts immediately, both 44.1/16 and 192/24. Playback via TIDAL Connect in WiiM Pro Plus is the time between skipping a track and starting playback for 44.1/16 4-5 seconds and for 192/24 10 or more seconds.

Just for completeness, when playing directly in the WiiM app (WHA) the switching is faster, 44.1/16 1 second and 192/24 2 seconds. The problem is evidently only in TIDAL Connect.

Hi, i have the same problem. I just got my wiim pro plus yesterday I have tested with wifi (5g) and ethernet and both have almost the same delay (3-5 seconds)
