Trouble with internet services

Hi,

I'm having a problem with my Wii Mini. Music from my NAS works perfectly, but internet services like Spotify Connect and internet radio aren't working. Spotify Connect shows the Wii Mini correctly, but attempts to connect Spotify to the Mini are unsuccessful.

My Amp Ultra works perfectly in another room, as does another Spotify Connect client in the house.

I've restarted the router. I've restarted the Mini several times. I've reset the Mini to factory settings and set it up again, and it worked for a while, but now it's not working again. I've tried all the possible settings in the Mini's network menu. The firmware is up to date. But the internet services still aren't working.

Do you have a new power supply you can try with the mini, say an apple charger or a raspberry pi power supply? Such appears to have helped sort out issues with WiiM mini’s in the past.

You mean there could be a connection between network problems and the power supply?

Not specifically, but updating the power supply has appeared in other posts to have help stabilise the Mini's overall operation.

I don't know what the current draw is for a Mini but it is possible that any given power supply may not be able to supply what is needed and another brand would. Voltage is different to current and the spec should be checked if problems arise.
