Turning on Marantz amp with Pro Plus

Perhaps I am delusional but thinking that the Marantz will turn on by simply plugging it into AC is pure fantasy.

Depends on the amp, some of my amps have a physical power switch, so if I leave that set to "On" I can indeed turn them on and off via AC only.
