I have a Wiim Amp Ultra , Q acoustics 3030i and a good 10" sub.

Great for listening to music.

However when plugged into the TV the dialogues are muffled, can't be heard as clearly as when using the TV speaker (which isn't great).

I've tried changing the EQ in the Wiim App to "voice" which improves things a little bit but still not nearly good enough.

Wondering about the following options:

1. Buy a All in one sounbar for the TV (hdmi arc) and only use Wiim Amp and speakers for music.

2. Buy a Soundbar with sub out so I can at least make use of the Sub I already have when using the TV. Not sure how I would change the sub connection each time I alternate between listening to music and watching TV though.

3. Wiim mini to Soundbar. HDMi arc to the Amp ultra (front speakers and sub). Set the Wiim mini as the centre speaker using the app (5.1 set up, in this case 3.1).

4. Further in the future, sell Amp Ultra and Buy Wiim Ultra with 5.1 receiver and a centre speaker

5. Not into that option but should mention it. Wiim Amp with centre speaker. Set the Wiim Amp as the centre speaker using the app (5.1 set up, in this case 3.1).

Am I missing something?
Do all these options work?

Thanks heaps.

Y.

Another option

6. instead of sound bar use a cheap Fosi Audio Amp with a centre speaker (either direct from the TV - option 1 ) and with Wiim mini (option 3).

Hi

All I can say right now is that you can't use plan 3.

Have you tried customizing the Vocal Booster EQ?

Change the EQ for the HDMI input to Vocal Booster, then (e.g.) gradually lower the bands below 500Hz until the vocals become clearer. If this doesn't work, consider other methods.
