Posted as information in the hope it helps someone else.
This morning my Galaxy Tab A7 Lite installed an update to One UI version 6.0 resulting in a loss of access to the USB Media Server. However, the app on my non-Samsung phone had no issues.
Uninstalled and reinstalled the WiiM app on the tablet and all is well.
