My setup is a bit complex but here is what I have in a seperate 2.1 system (main zone is a 9.3.4 system running off the tonewinner)
Wiim Ultra digital out into..
Tonewinner AT-300 pre amp left & right pre out into..
Outlaw ICBM-1 bass management device, out into a stereo power amplifier
Outlaw ICBM-1 into a Minidsp HD sub input 2, sub output 4. PEQ is done in the Minidsp HD. The other subwoofers are disabled for this stereo function
into a subwoofer.
If I disconnect the cable from the Outlaw ICBM-1 that goes into the minidsp HD, then plug into the Ultra subwoofer output, then do the sub measurement and determines the distance, can I then use this setting into the Minidsp HD console for that subwoofer? Currently I set delay in the minidsp HD for that sub output at 0. I think what I did a while ago was use REW to plot responses and adjust phase on the sub to get best response but wonder if this sub cal from the Ultra could a better job
