Volume control from phone

I love the recent update that gives the remote 1 step precision to control the volume. I would love that same feature improvement when using my Android phone to control the volume. Thanks!

I would like my phone to adjust the volume in increments of 5 like my remote control does after the recent update.

My Galaxy A35 gives me 2 step increments using the volume buttons on the side.

I have my volume adjustment step for my physical WiiM remote at 1. Also my knob volume step at 1 as well. They both work fine no issues with that. But when I make an adjustment with my side buttons (iPhone) on the WHA the increments are 3-4. When I use the Apple TV remote and the Apple TV app the increments are also at 1. Not a big deal, I was just wondering if this is what others may or may not be experiencing.

Oh ok that’s interesting that yours results in different volume adjustments. I mainly stay in the WiiM iOS home app to control my sources. So either when I stream through the WiFi, tv through the hdmi, turntable through the line in or cd’s through the optical I notice the volume will go in increments of 3 using my phones side buttons. This happens in the WiiM home app. The only other app I use is the Apple TV app which goes in increments of 1 using my side buttons.

On my Android phone, as long as the WiiM app is in the front ground, I can adjust the volume in 1% increments. However, if the WiiM app is in the background and the lock screen controller is on, it is generally in 3% increments.

Is this toggle on?

No I keep that toggle off because it interfered with my iPhone volume. I did try it on and off just now to test and I was still getting the 3% increments. Thanks for that suggestion though.

That toggle interferes with all other apps on Android as well. Something else WiiM struggle to fix.
