No, they come from factory. I have metal spikes too, but in my opinion have no impact on the sound quality, so I leave the default ones.

Have you tried some of the little sister's music? A few good ones from her too, imo.

I had my first chance to play this today. Another great album from Ms Fils-Aimé.
I first tripped over her debut album - Nameless - just after it was released. She has a fabulous tone.
