Wiim ultra +
What would be the benefits of this?
Look, balanced will not make sounds any better than rca. It’s matters if you’re running a long line with potential to pick up interference Most devices sits next to each other. Just sit back relax and enjoy your music instead of dreaming of balanced connection. The same can be said on users who run rc many times including investing external mic. If you don’t like the way your system sounds you could tweak them to your liking using either eq or gq if rc fail to make them sound better to your ear. Too much measuring not enough listening,@WiiM Team Please consider an Ultra + with balanced outputs … please, please, please
It’s funny many users use house curve did so much measuring and when ask did you listen to any of them I get answer no.Goes against the old adage, measure twice, listen once
I agree with you many streaming company has superior hardware only to fall short on software. All they do is bug fixing with hardly anything added in term of feature. Wiim expertise on software can turn their product into powerhouse. They keep improving their product via software update with added feature you won’t easily find elsewhere. Best of all it’s free at no cost to all of us users.New devices aren't necessary. It's just an excuse to make more money. There is a lot of hardware potential in the existing devices with a reserve for the next 10 years. I think there needs to be more emphasis on software. Including opening up the system a bit to supporters of diy programming, plugins from GitHub. You have to allow enthusiasts to improve products. Your trump card is software only. I would bet on that only. Because as I said earlier there is no innovation here. Physical devices, mixers and audio interfaces from 20-30 years ago work just as well now. Creating a web interface to an audio interface on Linux is not innovation.... So yeah. The bet is on software only.
Smart presets might go some way for “macros”You know actually a more comprehensive remote control would be great.
Programmable macros, more controls. Maybe even IR learning capability to control other devices.
I totally agree! A combination remote control with programmable or learnable buttons, such as reassigning the volume and power buttons to control an amplifier. You know actually a more comprehensive remote control would be great.

Also add subwoofer volume while we are at lolI totally agree! A combination remote control with programmable or learnable buttons, such as reassigning the volume and power buttons to control an amplifier.

Not sure I understand your linking balanced connections to room EQ, has nothing to do with my request, very odd … the fact of the matter is I need balanced connections for new active speakers and without this capability I will not purchase the Wiim and will rather go with a competitor. It’s not complicated and your “psychoanalysis” of my request is just silly.Look, balanced will not make sounds any better than rca. Why? I don't have a subwoofer, but shouldn't the subwoofer be adjustable along with the main speakers? Also add subwoofer volume while we are at lol
You should have a sub. They only add to your system. The app has subwoofer management features including volume control independent of the mains speakers. Why? I don't have a subwoofer, but shouldn't the subwoofer be adjustable along with the main speakers?
Thanks, but it's not necessary at all. I have floor-standing speakers and a powerful amplifier, the bass is more than enough. In addition, I have a Pro Plus without connecting a subwoofer. In any case, separate adjustment is not very convenient? You should have a sub. They only add to your system.
