WiiM Vibelink Amp
Vibelink has volume control and a DAC, so it's not a power amp, it's an integrated amp. I'd like to see a true power amp.
Your definition of what is a "true power amp" and what is an "integrated amp" is totally arbitrary and highly debatable. WiiM even explicitly use the term "pure power amp".
Your wish is still valid, of course, and most clearly put.

Pre-amplifier will add voltage to a signal but will not provide current, the power amplifer while can add some voltage gain has it main function on providing the current needed for driving the speakers.
The Vibelink volume control its probably providing attenuation, not part of an active preamp stage

I think it might be somewhat of an exaggeration to say that calling the Vibelink - an amp with multiple inputs, an integrated DAC, and a volume control - an "integrated amplifier", rather than a power amplifier, is somehow "totally arbitrary and highly debatable".
I've nothing against WiiM trying out new marketing gimmicks, like calling the Vibelink a "Pure Power Amp" based seemingly on their own arbitrary definition that a WiiM amp without streaming functionality must be a power amp. Despite their attempt to "reinvent the genre", it will of course still be found listed as an integrated amp on practically all retailer sites, and will still be called an integrated amp by the vast majority of reviewers and product testers, because that is what the Vibelink is - a really good compact integrated amplifier.... Not that there's anything wrong with that (for any Seinfeld fans out there

I'd say that calling it an integrated amplifier is an exaggeration.
For those old enough to remember, an integrated amplifier has always been a pre-amplifier and a power amplifier build into the same cabinet. The concept of what a pre-amplifier actually is (or was) has been mostly forgotten by now (and the advent of the oxymoronic class of "passive pre-amplifiers" certainly did play a role).

I would like to see larger WiiM speakers with multiple drive units, similar to this RIVA Festival. In addition to the drivers shown, there are an additional two passive radiators not shown at the rear.
This Riva was a real beast!! Even thieves knew that a few years when visiting our holiday flat. They grabbed it and left a vintage Accuphase amp and two Eckhorns untouched. But maybe these were just a bit too heavy.

A streaming transport with full screen,a nice chassis and a good power supply
If, to save money (removing a DAC stage not expensive here), we might as well remove the screen, an expensive element that requires a lot of resources and make electronic pollution, etc....
We have the information on our phones and tablets anyway.
(does not prohibit taking care of the quality of local regulations...but outsourcing the power supply...whether for the choice of the technical approach, or even distance from pollution, but also for the durability of the machine (power supplies being a source of fragility) is in reality probably a good thing. .. ;-) )

Wiim Pro Plus user. A single box stereo amplifier ,min 200w into 4ohm,dual mono,only rca inputs,pffb ,adjustable input gain would be a great combo for wiim streamers.
Isn‘t that the Vibelink?
