What products you'd like to see WiiM produce?

On topic: What about a compact soundbar for use with a TV panel @WiiM Team?
What's WiiM's value-add in the soundbar space? If I were on their Product Marketing team, I would want to understand the reason my 'special sauce' should be packaged in what's now a commodity aimed at upgrading TV speakers.

It could be a genius maneuver into a new bigger market space, but then my developer partnership with LG becomes as an important factor as how WiiM soundbars do great things (technically speaking) vs. today's status quo. DSP tricks in subwoofer integration might be all it takes, but it would certainly necessitate ambitious new versions of the WiiM Home app(s) for TV platforms. It would be very cool to have the WiiM app in control of the HDMI passthrough to a TV with on-screen menu and overlay capabilities, etc.

Well, given the WiiMs can decode Dolby, that means a WiiM Soundbar could handle front and center channels, or even front, center, and LFE if it included a sub. Wirelessly. With RoomFit correction.

I don't get it.... is this an Ultra? It only has L/R and subwoofer outputs. How can it decode the front three channels?

This will be interesting... I foresee this forum surrounded by network issue-related threads😀. [Side-story} When I was a young tech geek, I worked Tech Support for a silicon valley tape backup system vendor. It was mostly used to backup old NetWare servers across the very slow LANs of the day (mid 80s). I quickly became a network support engineer helping these poor sods trying to backup their company's vital LAN server over randomly bad network implentations and critical software patches. "It ['the network'] works fine for everything else!"

If we're at this...

How about a simple WiiM Product that takes the eARC over HDMI and decodes the surround into multichannel audio? 7.1 to begin with. 7.1.4 would be a killer.

Just like the Ultra takes music over IP and bridges it to USB

I mean... who does 5.1 nowadays?
