Hi, I have an Amp Pro for a few months. It is used only via HDMI with a Sony TV and experiences the following issue: about once a month, the app on my phone (iOS) stops detecting the amplifier. It can still be turned on and off using the TV remote, and the volume can be adjusted. Then, after a few days, it can only be turned on using the TV remote, and the volume can no longer be adjusted, so I have to restart it by unplugging it. After plugging it back and turning it on, it can connect to the TV but no sound is heard. The white LED blinks continuously and relatively quickly, and the app still does not detect it. To use it again and return to normal operation, it must be unplugged for 24 hours or more. This time, it still cannot be used and hasn't recovered. I have experienced this problem a few times and it is already getting frustrating.

Try to do a complete hardware reset and then connect, as described in the manual.

And you follow the manuals instructions to connect with the WiiM? I think the flashing light indicate that it is waiting for network connection and you will need to set that via the WiiM Home App.
The WiiM device opens it's own access point. Can you see that on your phone (in the WiFi menu)?

Yes, every time i open the app too and do what app ask, reset the router or plug in plug out the Amp. It doesn’t work. :(

Ok. So you do see the WiiM device access point. So it is ready to configured but the configuration don't work.

May look like a hardware error then?

I don’t know what you mean with device access point, the app try to discovered the device and ask to do thinks like reboot the router or plug out-plug in the device in order to discover it but it failed to discover it.

When you do the initial setup the WiiM device opens it's own access point on WiFi (SSID like "WiiM ..."). This is used to do the initial connection to the app. That is what the app is looking for.

So because the app doesn’t find the device but in the same time the device stop responding to other commands , what can cause those problems?

Already reported the issue to support?

If you submit a support ticket through the feedback section of the WiiM app, a log of your device will be sent to them to help resolve the issue.

Can you also try with other phones?

I looks like it is not initialized and have no network connection.

If you have an Ethernet cable connected, try to remove it and perform the setup again. Check that you can see the WiiM SSID in your WiFi menu on the phone, just after the reset

I submit a ticket already.

It is connected via Wifi from beginning..

Sorry, I don't understand. After a reset it will not be connected, at least not on WiFi. I have not tried to initialized with Ethernet plugged in. I did that after the initial setup.

Did you check the SSID?

I am just trying to help, so if you don't think it's a help, just tell me

I don’t understand very well what you say, so i try to make you to understand that, from the first time i get it it was initialized via Wifi, i don’t use the Ethernet cable ever. And once again, the device doesn’t respond to any reset… i try to reset it immediately after i plug in , i push the play/pause button for 1 minute and do nothing. And from the reset button from back, the small hole. Do nothing. It is another way to reset it?

The small hole in the back is a microphone!

When the lights starts flashing it's in setup mode and all setup has been removed.
Then check if you can see the access point on WiFi, provided by the WiiM. You can check it on your phone in the same place as where you connect to other WiFi, e.g. from your router.

Really? :))…
No, i can’t see it in WiFi networks.
Ok. Then it is not resetting. And that is why the app cannot see it.

This is the recommended actions:

1. Initial Connection: Make sure your mobile phone is connected to the desired network you plan for your WiiM device.

2. Reset WiiM Network:

- Press and hold the Play/Press button on your WiiM device for 10 seconds.

- Wait for the indicator light on your WiiM device to blink white slowly.

3. Assign New Network: Open the WiiM Home app and set up the network for your WiiM device.

If that doesn't work I would think that the device is faulty.
