I have a WiiM Amp with Focal Cub3 subwoofer set to always on. (I have verified it’s on because it hums all day when the WiiM Amp is in standby.) When the WiiM Amp goes into standby, the subwoofer toggle often shuts off, and I have to go in the app to re-enable it. Is there a way to keep the setting on permanently? I don’t remember having this problem in the past, and wonder if an (not necessarily recent) update may have broken the setting preference.
You should definitely be able to enable the sub out setting (and keep it like this without having to re-enable it) even with nothing connected to he sub out at all.
Is this on iOS or Android (could also make a difference)? Did you try deleting the app cache? Do you know the firmware version and PCB version of your WiiM Amp?
If you can reproduce the issue quite often I recommend you send feedback to WiiM through the WiiM Home app, directly after the issue has reoccurred.
