Wiim amp TV sound problems

What is your CEC Power settings in WiiM?
You can set it to off, to prevent WiiM device to turn on.

There is an issue in WiiM with the CEC control. If you turn on a TV it will discover the WiiM no matter what state the WiiM is in. For some TVs that means they switch output to external speakers even though the WiiM is not changing to TV input.

Thank you that is exactly my issue over here!
I roughly tried each and every setting and now my Tv doesn’t recognize the AMZN Firestick and the Nintendo of my son anymore so I have to proceed trying out…but yes, you are on point with my problem, thx!

Please raise a ticket to WiiM.
I did the same many months ago and it was ignored. I don't think @WiiM Team actually understand the situation.
Maybe a new ticket would help?

You may try to search for "HDMI" in the forum and see how many other people having similar issues
