WiiM Amp Ultra: Crackling of the speakers when turning on and off

My Audiolab 8000A has a relay to disconnect the speakers at power on. The headphone output is a different story and pops loudly 🤣
That might be why my 80s amps don't pop, you turn them on and there's a distinct metallic click from somewhere inside the case ~4 to 11 seconds after turning it on, then you get sound.

With my WAU at latest firmware, i been noticing the pop when ever it goes into/out of sleep or power down at mains, or even browing WHA menu going into PEQ. etc.

There is supposed to be anti-pop design, at least in their vibelink from this reviewer guides

Based on the wording, I guess this feature primarily suppresses pop noise that occurs during sample rate or input switching, and is unrelated to pop noise during power (standby) on/off.

I hope Wiim look into this though. The WAU is built around going into low power mode standby, always on. It cannot be good for the speakers or user's perspectives to constantly hear the pops.

I have never had pops from my WiiM Amp Ultra, or Ultra/Vibelink combination, but I do get very quiet pops when bringing my Amp out of standby.
