Wiim Amp volume locked

I only used the Mac Home app for a few minutes and didn't notice the toggle, or remember pressing it.

Must have done by accident I guess.

I see you did enable MQA beta at some point in time. Switching MQA on automatically also enables fixed output volume, at least with the Windows beta version. I did learn that the hard and loud way ...

You can then disable fixed volume again, without the MQA switch being reset (for whatever reason). Better to keep our fingers from those unsuppurted features which are shown in error for the WiiM Amp. :)

You’re absolutely correct!
And it makes sense why it would switch fixed volume on for a device with line outputs in order for it to be bit-perfect.
Wiim just need to remove the feature when using the desktop app for an Amp.

Thanks very much for your feedback, and we will update a new desktop app to remove the Fixed Volume Output feature for the WiiM Amp.
