Wiim home app is too slow

I defined the mac address of the Wiim pro plus on the router

Note there can be 3 different MAC addresses in the WiiM device. For WiFi AP (SSID), for WiFi after setup and for Ethernet.

Sorry, didn't read carefully. This part of the setup is looking good then.

Still, the WiiM Home app is not generally slow, so there must be something we are overlooking.

As I mentioned before, I don't have a problem with Qobuz's native application, but the Wiim home application is too slow to be accepted.

I don't question that. But since other users of the same WiiM Home app (including myself) don't see this problem it's likely something outside the realm of the app.

One thing caught my attention. In some playlists and albums, song transitions are at an acceptable speed (for example, pink floyd). On the other hand, it is very slow on most albums and playlists

You’re possible stepping into gapless playback territory having mentioned Pink Floyd…

I’d suggest you turn off preferred DNS (as WiiM support will suggest that for sure) and attempt to play an album, then having experienced your issue, immediately raise a ticket to WiiM via the more/feedback section in the app so they can inspect your device logs. Be as clear as you can about the actions you took, about the network setup you’re using, what you were trying to play and from which service, and how long you feel the delay was etc. Hopefully the more information WiiM have, the better they’ll be able to suggest a solution.
