Please review the app update release notes below. If you encounter any issues, feel free to reach out to us.

What's New:

1. Tablet UI: Enhanced support for tablets, providing an improved user experience. (Android)

Bug Fixes:

1. General Enhancements: Various performance improvements and bug fixes to enhance overall operation.

Thank you for fixing my issue with the playlist order in USB and also the search function crashing.

I used the Open Network Stream function, loaded my URL, and was given the option to save it as a Preset. The default title is "Listen" - I hit edit and entered the name JEMPradio, and saved it, but it still shows as "listen" and if I hit EDIT now, it seems my only option is Delete, which is not what I want to do. App Version is 2.10.2 on an iPhone 13Pro.
Not sure how to force/see what version Firmware I am running, but I'd presume its the most current.

Edit on the preset page is inky to manage the list of presets, not the name of a preset. You’d need to go back to the Open Network Stream page and under the three dot menu against the steam, you can edit its name there and then resave it as a preset, overwriting the previous one.

Ah, perfect! It had saved the name, but then I needed to save it as preset 1 and Confirm I wanted to overwrite the previous preset 1!
Thank you.

@WiiM Support, @WiiM Team,

Hi,

This is a supplement to ticket:506415.
I have updated the Android WiiM app to 2.10.3 240628 and nothing has fixed the landscape mode issue. This problem is serious because it is also negatively affecting portrait mode.

The problem is that the table width of the startup screen is the size of a smartphone to begin with. (This is Portrait mode.)

Some sections will be mobile sized the same on both portrait and landscape screens.

I see the same problem on my two tablets.
Samsung Tab S8+
Xiaomi pad 6

Thank you. 🙂

New 2.10.4 app version for android goes back to zero, no landscape mode at all. Well, really hoped for more.

Unfortunately, tablet and landscape modes are far from the same thing. I was hoping for a tablet mode, more similar to a desktop app, because I use a 10-inch tablet. Unfortunately, this is an unattainable dream.
My interpretation is that it means landscape mode for tablets. In other words, landscape mode is not added to the phone basically.

It's right. But for tablets, portrait mode should be different from the view on a smartphone, otherwise it will simply end up stretched across the entire screen. So there is no mode at all for the tablet.

Is it the "now playing screen" tablet UI that you need? If so, I'm with you, but I don't think the other screens need it. And the now playing screens on my streaming services (Amazon Music and Spotify) are just stretched out horizontally.
