WiiM Home App v3.1.3 Update - Feb 17, 2025

The Android version has been released. The iOS version is currently under review by the App Store. Stay tuned for updates!

What's New:

1. Per-Source Group Audio Delay: Each input source now supports separate group audio delay adjustments in the Audio Input Settings.
2. External Microphone Calibration File: Calibration files can be imported to improve Room Correction accuracy.
3. Fixed Volume Prompt: A prompt has been added to help prevent sudden, unexpected volume changes.

Bug Fixes:

1. QNAP Indexing Issue: Addressed an issue that prevented indexing all music files on QNAP Music Server.
2. Custom URL Playback Issue: Corrected playback problems caused by URLs containing spaces.
3. Queue Playback Issue: Fixed a bug that stopped tracks from playing after being reordered in the queue.
4. [iOS] USB Search Issue: Resolved a problem where searches using the single quote (') character returned no results.
5. [Android] Track Highlight Issue: Improved stability of the playing track highlight to eliminate flashing.
6. General Fixes: Various performance improvements and bug fixes.

Just got a updated WiiM Home App. In the release notes I see this!

"External Microphone Calibration File: Import calibration files for improved Room Correction accuracy."

But no further instructions seems to be available.View attachment 17324

If you plug a mic in then some new settings appear in "Room Correction" settings

Sorry, I was confused by this post and assumed the 3.1.3 version had the Spotify fix for all WiiMs.

I notice that there’s a “Spotify Connect quick fix” beta version of firmware for the ultra dated 15/2 that allows you to turn off Chromecast in an upcoming version 3.1.3 of the WiiM app (“coming soon”)

Why Wiim app don't support anymore linkplay device with 3.8.6.xxxx firmware? They don't exist in a Wiim app and i use another old Wiim app to control them.

The WiiM Home App is just a controller app. The device firmware is the one that connects to the services. So the workaround is in the beta firmware.

I will assume that the real fix is up to Spotify?

Didn't we have same kind of issue before?

@WiiM Team this could be an Android 16 thing (currently running the beta), but the WiiM Home app icon is now incorrectly displayed.

I just got the new iOS update. Great to be able to install the external microphone calibration file in the Wiim app now. I use a Dayton iMM-6c mic.
