I am going to buy a new tv and i want wiim home on it. So, what brand should i buy ? It seems there is only TCL that have android tv ? lg has webos, samsung tizen, hisense vidaa etc

I would buy the best smart tv you can afford, and buy a separate media streaming device like a Fire tv stick (just not the latest model as that uses the new fire tv vega o/s for which there are not a lot of apps). That way you’re protected against the tv provider dropping support for media apps as can happen, plus it’s cheaper to replace a small media streamer than a whole tv.

The “fire tv stick 4k select” that runs their new vega o/s? I think I read Amazon might have some sort of legacy mode that runs non-vega apps in the cloud, but I haven’t seen anyone confirm that runs the WiiM home tv app ok nor that WiiM have released a native vega app.

OK, I didn't think of the "select" model as I cannot see any additional value in it anyway.
