WiiM Pro, Raspberry Pi 4 8GB

Apologies if this has been directly said and I just haven't put 2 and 2 together. I've been trying to follow the thread and it's not completely clicking. I've recently bought a mini and a pro to try to figure out how to accomplish what I'm wanting and can't get it.

Am I understanding correctly that it is possible to use Google cast via the wiim (Mini or pro) and get that audio as a input into PCP? If so, can someone explain (like i'm 5 LOL) how they are making this happen?

I have several LMS clients all over, most running PCP, and the LMS server is running as a docker container. I had "hoped" wiim would just have some option to "bridge" the 2 together. I checked the wiim API and I saw where the metadata could be found, but I didn't see a actual stream.

Thank you all so much in advance.

The mini doesn’t support Chrome/google cast, so if you want to use that, it’ll have to be a Pro or similar. Use the optical output from the WiiM into the same input in the pcp server either directly or via an adaptor.
