Wiim Sound stereo pair not staying connected

I have just purchased two Wiim Sounds to migrate over from Sonos. I have had these for a few weeks and I am pretty happy with them. The one problem I am having is that I can't get the stereo pair to stay connected. I have to continually group the two speakers in my living room and assign them left and right for the stereo pair. This is getting very annoying and I don't know how to set this pair of speakers as a permanently paired group. I have tried to do the groups option at the top of the devices page but I either do not know what I am doing or it is not working. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can keep a stereo pair permanently matched. I want these two speakers to permanently act as one stereo pair. Thank you in advance.

Do you know what's causing the pair to separate?
Could it be when they go into standby?
Maybe try settting that to Never for both of them.
I do not know what is causing them to unpair. I use it one day. I come back later that day or the next day and have to go through the steps again.
Thank you for the suggestion, I will try that and report back.

As far as I know, there are two main reasons why stereo pairing gets disconnected.

1. When you play music or switch inputs on the follower device.

2. When you select a single device using Spotify Connect.

Do either of these ring a bell?

I ended up doing a factory reset on both units.

Set them both up & then set them up as a group.

Seems to have sorted it 🤞 - had no issues for the last 24 hours
