Hi all,
I have checked the search before I postet plus the KI, if could find answers, though I didn't get them.
In fact, that could be in relation to the used terminolgies. However...
I am looking for answers in regard to:

PHONO input - RIAA modulation - DSP Headphone PEQ - USB -Output (or Coax/Toslink)

1) First of all, is this sort of DSP pipeline known to work in the WIIM ULTRA ?
2) Can I use different profiles / presets for different Headphones ?
3) Which settings for the volume (100% is bitperfect?) - I am unsing a FIIO K7 as DAC/HP-AMP and/or a t FIIO BTA-30 pro for BT output to eligible BT cans
Very happy to read your experience, wisdom, knowledge and thoughts about that secenario
Kind regards & thanx in advance
Happy holiday
Tom

If you are using any kind of EQ, or RoomFit, then you will not be getting Bit Perfect output, irrespective of any volume settings.

yes wording was not sensitive or decent enough for the overall forum language ...,
I am aware that DSP and Bitperfect aren't part of the same equation, and I may want to excuse for delivering trigger words for the most sensitive of you.
My point was rather: Which position on the volume knob should work, when i.e. the 100 % is supposed a bit-perfect transmission? Perhaps it isn't - but that's the point to answer.

In relation to DSP, ie. Equalization from Phono or PEQ presets for particular Headphones, this seems to be a common way to go, perhaps not for the purists, but that seems to be another discussion.

Finally, in case it would be more sensitive to explain my goals here more clearly:
I want to build a simple Vinyl / HP Zone around the WIIM Ultra, with my Rega Planar 3, the FIIO K7, and a couple of different headphones (109pro/HE400/HD650) , in order to use some of the equipment which is still in da house, and not prone to run through the room correction of the all digital system that masters the listening room.

The questions seems to evaluate the signal path and the DSP pipeline in between, and BT only as an outpost ..

Happy holidays guys .. and stay cool for Xmas

We’re neither triggered or sensitive here 😜🤣

Re volume, I guess it depends where you ultimately wish to control it. Normally I’d set volume at or near 100% all along the chain to the final device and use that for volume. Others might prefer using the first device for overall volume control and therefore leave the later devices at a fixed volume. To some degree, it’ll be what you prefer for the kit you have - what sounds best for you is what’s best.

Merry Xmas and a guid new year ;)

At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is which sounds better for you.
