Wiim Ultra Settings as a Pre Amp to a AVR / Delay

Hello there,
I have some questions about my setup:

I use the Wiim Ultra inbetween a Power Amp (Pro-Ject DS2 Amp Box) and an AVR (Marantz Cinema 70s) as a Preamp (Connection via RCA from the Marantz Front Preouts into the Line In of the Wiim Ultra, Volume Set to 100%). I use Audyssey via the Marantz for Measurements. Is the right way to go to leave the EQ Settings in the Wiim Ultra to "Flat" or should I use also the Room Correction for the Line In Input?
The Results of the Audyssey Measurements show a big difference in the Speaker Distance Section (PreOut Fronts 7m, the other Speakers 2-3m), so I guess this is the Latency then? Or is there an Option to reduce the Latency? The Front Speakers are also quieter than the other speakers, so that Audyssey raises the gain after the Measurements, should I better use the gain function for the line in input the Wiim Ultra to level all speaker?

Sorry for my bad english ;)

Hi Otacon89,
Since you're using the Marantz for room correction with Audyssey, it's best to keep the Wiim Ultra’s EQ set to "Flat" to avoid double-processing the signal. The large difference in speaker distances (7m vs. 2–3m) is likely due to latency introduced by the Wiim Ultra's Line-In path. Unfortunately, the Wiim Ultra doesn’t currently offer a way to reduce that Line-In latency. If the front speakers sound quieter, slightly increasing the Line-In gain on the Wiim Ultra might help balance levels before Audyssey runs. Just be sure not to overdo it, as too much gain could cause signal distortion or clipping.

I'd actually set EQ Off rather than Flat if possible, although I note that presets still don't allow that to be chosen explicitly in case you are using a preset to switch to line in and want EQ applied for other inputs.
