Nor bit perfect casting from the Amazon Music app I’d guess given Bluesound’s intransigence over providing this. Wiim’s support of Amazon Music bit perfect from that app and Alexa was what drew me to it in the first place with the mini.
Radio Paradise is nothing special. Idagio is probably a few 1000 users - also available on Sonos. Sonos has the most comprehensive music services list of all. Wiim is catching up, but has a way to go.
Look you are right. But I wanted to stress that there is a sentiment in this forum that we only care about more and more features because sound is already transparent. This is not the case at all. Something was bothering me with the wiims with respect to sound. Some harshness here and there, in general some issues that I could not maintain the volume in tracks at one point without bothering me. I have a super even frequency response but still...Probably distortions, non linearities, random noise , I don't know...! The main focus should to include in your products only features that are very well implemented but sound quality should always come first, then features. And if you cannot include all the features at a certain price point give more weight to the sound.It is a cruel attempt to try to explain to the ex-lover how wonderful the new lover is.
Do you use the Node as a transport in the same setup as WiiM in your signature? Ie optical out into your Roksan? And if yes, there is such a drastic sound difference between these two digital transports?
