Will an HDMI output be added to a WiiM streamer in the future?

I'm really interested in if an HDMI output will be added to a WiiM streamer in the future. I have an Eversolo DMP-A6 and it has an HDMI output. It's an excellent feature especially the ability to play 5.1 files when connected to an AVR/processor. I have a WiiM Ultra and Pro in two different systems and they are both great streamers. The WiiM app and features like being able to link two or more of their streamers is an awesome feature. Also the ability to play multiple albums with Qobuz or from a USB hard drive (Ultra) using the "Play Last" feature is also great. Eversolo does not offer the ability (at this time) to link two DMP-A6s together nor the "Play Last" feature.

If WiiM came out with an "Ultra Pro" with an HDMI output capable of playing 5.1 or even Atmos files that would be a game changer IMO. I really like the DMP-A6 and it's HDMI output option as well as the onboard SSD capability. But I'd go all WiiM if there was an "Ultra Pro" released with an HDMI output. I just flat out prefer the WiiM app and WiiM's support over Eversolo's.

Although not exactly the same as Eversolo/AVR, have you seen this?

Thanks for posting that link. I have already seen that and not a direction that I need to go in. I already have a 5.1 system with a processor, multiple amps for each channel and two subs. Having a streamer like the Ultra with an HDMI output would be all that would be needed for anyone that already has a surround setup. That being an AVR/processor, amps, array of speakers and sub(s).

Don't most modern AVRs have the ability to play from a USB or Network drive? I don't see what a Wiim with HDMI output would add...

The point of having an HDMI output is to be able to play multichannel files (Blu-ray, DVD-A and SACD) from a hard drive connected to the WiiM. One would connect the HDMI output of the WiiM to an HDMI input of the AVR. Connecting a USB hard drive to an AVR means one has to use whatever app (if there is one) to select files from the hard drive. That totally removes the ease of accessing the files using the excellent WiiM app.

I have an Eversolo DMP-A6 with an HDMI output and it's an excellent feature. I can play multichannel files from the internal SSD of the DMP-A6 and use the Eversolo app to navigate the SSD.
