Yeah, the app(s) and Chromecast has been suggested in a few responses of late - I think YouTube Premium is required though.TBH I use tidal because I can tell a difference between Spotify and Tidal, however it's not night and day. I just prefer the sound Tidal has.
Youtube is inferior to both to me, however I won't rain on it if you like it. Given WiiM supports Casting, the youtube App might be an option?
+1. My wife is getting mad and is asking why I spent money on beginning to 'fix' the SONOS system when it wasn't broken in the first place... and apart from the obvious DAC & res 'on-paper' improvements and my own desire to take advantage of hi-res Tidal content I'm starting to agree with her. The SONOS units we have splashed around the house work fine and apart from the woeful app update it does everything we need and sounds 90-95% as good as the WiiM anyway.@WiiM Support is there any news or timeline when YouTube music will be integrated? Thanks!
Yeah, this is purely about the audio side of YouTube Music, not video. SONOS had it working a loooong way back in the 'Google Play Music' days and it all seamlessly transferred over to 'YouTube Music' Back in 2020. Odd that WiiM can't do something SONOS easily could & still can!It was announced in the spring in the marketing phase of the arrival of the ultra "from memory"
(just don't forget that the audio quality will remain low and that there seems to be little thought of avoiding major latency problems with the video.... maybe just in """audio" so...)
I would love this for wiim mini soonThe short answer is YES.
See comment #50, just two comments before yours…Hi! I would like to refresh the topic of Youtube Music. I think we are all waiting for this functionality. Can you (the Wiim team) at least give an estimate of the implementation date, if you are planning it at all.
Thank you, I looked wrong (at the date the user joined, not the date of the post).See comment #50, just two comments before yours…

That's sounds like good news for me.Hi cnaimo, team
We're very close to releasing this. I hope we can release it in a few weeks. Please stay tuned! Thank you for your continued patience and support.
Hi any update to supporting YouTube Music. Google cast is not the greatest
It makes good sense to me, it comes as part of my YouTube Family premium account which I subscribe to as I follow a large number of channels and can't be arsed to keep watching the awful ads that YouTube keep putting on. Five members of my family get all the benefits including YouTube music premium for £19.99 a month.Neither is YouTube Music.
