🎉 WiiM Home TV App Update — Now Available for Android TV & Fire TV!

We're excited to announce a new update to the WiiM Home TV App for Android TV and Fire TV!

Wow, and I literally only posted about wanting a TV app update 2 days ago.
Nice work, and hopefully it'll install so I have plenty of time to play over the long weekend.

You fixed the remaining timer 'jumping' proportional font size issue
The track time on the left still jumps slightly, but it was always less jumpy than the remaining time.
It's now clearly a different font from the one on the right, just by looking at it.

A suggestion - when pressing right to scroll through the presets, when you get to the end of the line and press right, make it scroll to the next preset on the next line.
i.e. when on preset 6, pressing right goes to preset 7
especially as there are 6 presets per line yet only 5 shown on the screen!

Is this supposed to be automatic, or an option somewhere?
The former doesn't seem to work (no lyrics yet shown for the entire song) and I can't see an option.

I also don't see it working for radio stations.

I gave it a try while I was in the beta test.

It’s really well done. The usability is great. And I love that you can return to the Now Playing screen from anywhere on the Home screen just by double-clicking the remote’s “Back” button.

It’ll be perfect once the Sound Profile feature is added and I can control groups using presets.

If I had to be picky, it would be nice if I could control play/pause using the play button on the TV remote, but that’s not really possible, is it?

Ok, this is getting there. The presets and the radio actually make this useable for me.

Keep going. Would love to see my dlna server browsable in Home Music Share if that's possible.

I don't see this working. If I play an album track with lyrics and then change to play a radio station that do have meta data but no lyrics, the previous track lyric even stay on the screen as long as the radio station is playing.

It seems to work if you turn off "Stay on Detailed Now Playing Screen."



In this mode, you can use the remote control buttons to skip to the previous or next track, play, or pause, which is very convenient. Has this feature been available for a while?

I don't know when this feature was added, but it's really convenient. Awesome!

It's a shame there's a delay in the lyrics display when skipping tracks, but it seems to work fine during normal playback.

Yes. It do work if you change to a track without lyrics but not when changing to a radio stream.
