Hi res multi room has been on the roadmap for a while, and the second part re RC, EQ etc for each endpoint is what happens just now afaics
I don't hold out much hope for that, since they don't seem able to make Lossy DLNA casting work.

Yeah, maybe they’re interdependent and perhaps need a bottom up rewrite of their multi room audio redistribution - who knows?

Hello all !
Not sure to understand all about the QC connect achievement.
- I just bought a Wiim Pro Plus, and I choose in the parameters "Qobuz connect beta Firmware", install it, all is ok
- In my Qobuz app (android, last version) I dont see connect option, only "chromecast"
I'm not on the beta group, just lambda user.
Normal? juste have to wait the official release?
Thanks for your help.

You probably won’t have long to wait for the official release.

If you haven’t been accepted by Qobuz into the beta connect test programme, you won’t have access to the beta apps so can’t use Connect yet. As has been said, it’s probably not far from a public release

Hi,

I noticed that if I stream hi-res content via the connect feature, it shows as cd quality in the WIIM app. Is that correct?

I assumed that the connect feature would allow hi-res streaming.

Cheers,
Dan

Are you using the beta firmware and beta Qobuz app? Also, have you set the streaming quality on the Qobuz page in the WiiM home app for your WiiM device?

I’m using the WIIM beta firmware but haven’t changed anything in the Qobuz app. Where is the beta Qobuz app? Streaming quality is set to hi-res in the WiiM home app.

As mentioned in previous responses, you need to have been accepted on to the Qobuz beta program by Qobuz to get access to the beta apps - the firmware isn’t sufficient on its own.

But I am able to connect, is that expected?

That’s not Qobuz Connect you’re using to “connect” but Airplay which maxes out at CD quality. It’s unfortunate that that page in the Qobuz app shows “Q Connect” which is not the proper casting mechanism “Qobuz Connect” which they’re developing and hopefully close to releasing.

Ah, I see. Thank you for confirming.
