When you received your Amp/Amp Pro did it have plastic black & red 'bungs/caps' in the banana plug holes which you had to remove before inserting banana plugs?

Definitely not with my Amp.

No. I did note that I had open the posts to fully open for my bananas to fit properly.

I found it necessary to reduce the diameter of my banana plugs slightly with a pair of pliers to make them fit a little bit easier.

What's the point of having loose connection?

It's not a problem that it's tight as long as it slips finally.

Not that I recall, neither WiiM AMP nor WiiM Amp Pro.

WiiM Amp Pro came with different (I say: better) binding posts (plastic covered), but these have been spotted on newer WiiM Amps, too.

It's not a problem that it's tight as long as it slips finally.

Even after treatment with pliers, they were still a tighter fit than any other banana plugs I have ever used before.

Yes, but mine were extremely tight before squeezing them.
