Not sure what you mean with this analogy... Intel MacBooks have been replaced with Apple Silicon 4 years ago.
The Ultra on the other hand is the *newer* product and a follow up to the WiiM Pro.

Not holding my breath, heading tomorrow to a local shop that has some discounts on WiiM and... probably will buy a Cambridge Audio instead. Waiting for Black Friday and not knowing if is coming in my region had me have enough of waiting and hoping.
Your choice obviously, but why not wait what the rest of the week could bring instead? Still got my hopes up
