Black Friday Sale Starting Soon

Amazon JP's Black Friday starts on the 29th; I believe the WiiM sale also starts on the 27th, since the Prime members-only pre-sale starts on the 27th.

I do not know if this has anything to do with the timing of the start of the sale in Europe.

Been waiting for black Friday to pick up the wiim ultra but it's only reduced on amazon in America $260,where in the UK it's still £360 on amazon uk,is this wiim doing this or amazon? Pretty disappointed

We have to be patient and remember that black is next Friday

There’s already such a big price difference between the US, EU and UK (in order of price). On Amazon US the normal price is $329, EU price is equivalent to $418 (€399) and UK is $440!! (£349). So even if we do get the same 20% discount in the UK/EU then it would still be more than the non-discounted US price. Is there a reason the US is so much less? Taxes? How nice would it be to pick one up for £208 ($263) though? 😂

Are the american prices including taxes?
I know they like to quote prices in stores without the tax…a very strange concept for a european as me.

On EU price, do they still add tax or tax already included? On amazon us, tax not included which is 9 or more percent. So if you’re buying $1000 at 10% your out of the door cost is 1,100 that is if you’re prime member. It would add extra for shipping if not member.

No, the price you see on Amazon us tax is not included which is 10 percent.

In EU and UK the price you see includes tax so I guess that explains some of the difference, but not all of it 🤷

It's the same here in Australia. I just bought a WiiM Pro Plus in the Amazon Australia Black Friday Sale for AUD$263.20, which includes GST. As a Prime member, shipping is free and expedited as well. Should have it by week's end. Hopefully! :)

If you purchase from Amazon in the EU, the tax (vat) is charged at the rate applicable in the delivery country, so prices vary depending on the rate charged in your country.

it’s ironic they tax people on their wages and purchase yet the government is broke. 😆

Yesterday, Ultra became the #1 ranked product on Amazon US (Wireless Audio Receivers & Adapters category). 😄

It may be a surprising accomplishment that Ultra is selling better than the Pro. After all, perhaps not being able to play with air wasn't so important. (This is a personal opinion and need not be discussed.)

At this point Ultra was #409 in the Electronics category. Probably the highest ranking in WiiM history.

Congratulations. 🤗🎉

I hope WiiM announce a BF sale in the UK soon - I’ve seen someone just order an Ultra who is optimistic for an automatic partial refund if it goes on sale later this week…

hahaha the anticipation

Would such kind of refund really be automatically initiated by Amazon? :)
