Bristol UK Hi Fi show today

Looks like Wiim’s UK distributor Henley Audio will be showcasing the current WiiM portfolio - no signs (yet?) of any new hardware:

“Room 312 highlights WiiM’s expanding streaming and multiroom range, with the UK show debut of the WiiM Sound and WiiM Sound Lite wireless speakers alongside the WiiM Sub Pro. The system demonstrates multi-zone playback and app-based control, with additional WiiM components such as the Amp Ultra, Ultra, Vibelink Amp, Amp and Pro Plus on display. Norstone Sound floor stands are used throughout to present a consistent, practical setup for domestic environments.”

They forgot to mention the WiiM forum where you can hammer on WiiM for not doing what you want or expect😂.

I don't like to be a naysayer or put a downer on stuff (too often haha), but, why would I pay £20-£35 so companies can sell me stuff?

That‘s so I don‘t have to pay for the booth rent through my product purchases. I‘d rather you pay that🤣.

Given Henley Audio are a major distributor for audio gear in the UK and the price is GBP, I’d be very surprised if they weren’t. Maybe worth calling them?

I had looked at the Norstone website and there was no mention of UK dealers, so this should be good news, and it looks like there might be a dealer not too far away.

Because a whole lot of Manufacturers worked with their Distributors to bring a LOT of High-End Equipment that you SURELY WILL NOT BUY, just to get you excited about Audiophile HiFi Audio. Or did you want to undertake a Road Trip on YOUR Dime to visit their normal locations??

Nah, still don't get it. I don't want to spend my 7 1/2 p on either.

This weekend is also the FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL AUDIO EXPO in Tampa Florida.
Over 74 Rooms, Exhibit Halls, and Ballrooms of HiFi that I cannot afford - of course I'll be there!!

WiiM isn't among the listed brands, but as I go through the rooms I will keep my eye out.
(In past years, WiiM Pro Plus and Ultra were seen in the Geshelli Labs rooms...)

maybe post a few pics of your highlights .. (y)

I have no idea how many Hi-fi shows are held in the UK but Bristol is not exactly local to most of the country.

Imho, it's misleading to call anything which needs a power cable "wireless" 😠
