Can't connect Wiim Sound Lite to speaker group in Amazon Alexa app

Hello,
I recently bought a Wiim Ultra and a Wiim Sound Lite. I'm super happy with both and they work a treat until I try to add them to the Alexa ecosystem.
All of my Alexa devices and wiim device are connected to the same network, I have triple checked this and reconnected the Wiim Sound Lite to the correct network. However, the Alexa app seems to think the Sound Lite is connected to a different network and won't let me add it to a speaker group with all my other devices. It lets me add the Ultra, but not the Sound Lite.
I have my internet separated into 2.4 and 5ghz networks so I know I'm not connected to the wrong frequency. I have the settings of the Sound Lite and Ultra set the same in the Wiim Home app so there shouldn't be any differences.
Please help, thank you in advance.

Update : I disabled ipv6 on both the Ultra and the Sound Lite, now in the speaker group creation in the Alexa app it has changed to 'update available' and is greyed out. I have checked on the wiim home app and I am fully up to date on the Sound Lite, I also connected the wiim remote as it says to try 'alexa, check for software updates' and it says there are no updates...

Hi,
Have you tried clearing the cache or reinstalling the Alexa app?

@Burnside, an Alexa expert, might be able to offer some better advice.

Hello,
Thanks for the tip, I just tried reinstalling the Alexa app but to no prevail. Here is what it looks like - View attachment 37065
I can only suggest general troubleshooting steps, but please try them if you haven’t already.

- Reboot the WiiM Sound (unplug and replug the power cable).

- Make sure all WiiM devices and your phone are connected to the same SSID.

- Remove the WiiM Sound from the Alexa app and re-register it. (If you can’t remove it from the Alexa app, please remove it from your Amazon account page.)

- Reboot the router.

When issues like this arrive with Amazon echo devices, the recommendation (as well as ensuring they're on the same network as you have checked) is often to reboot both the router and the device in that order, ideally by powering them off, waiting say 30secs, then powering up and checking the router is fully online before you power cycle the device itself. I'd also turn off WiFi roaming under network status in the WiiM device network status settings, and perhaps try changing its dns too.

Thank you,
I reset my router and the Sound Lite. This didn't work initially but while the router was off I was able to add the Sound Lite to the group. Then once it had reconnected I changed the DNS server on the Sound Lite and it just started working straight away.
Thanks very much for both of your help. Much appreciated
