Sound lite as surrounds for streaming

I have bought two sound lites to use as rears to my WiiM amp ultra setup (monitor audio Silver 100 7g and BK Electronics Double Gem sub.
Can I set this up to enable surround sound when streaming from Spotify and/or Amazon Music rather than just make it basically a quadrophonic sound ?
If not, is this something that WiiM would be looking at in the future or should I revert back to just my front stage and either use the lites in other rooms or send em back ?

While you could group them and play the same audio on them, it wouldn’t be “quadrophonic” as the sources you specify don’t have quadrophonic tracks, nor can a WiiM device emulate such. Best you would get is “double stereo” but I imagine that might not sound great

I think when I said quadraphonic, I was probably thinking about double stereo, which just sound a bit echoey…. Is that right ?

Probably. I’d imagine the imaging would be confusing.
