Configurable HDMI ARC/CEC volume step size in the WiiM app

Hi WiiM Team,


I would like to suggest adding an option in the WiiM app to configure the volume step size for HDMI ARC / CEC volume control.


Right now, it is possible to adjust the volume step size for the WiiM remote or the physical volume knob, but HDMI ARC volume changes still seem to move in increments of 1. This makes volume control via the TV remote very inconvenient.


In real-world use, most users control the WiiM Amp / WiiM Amp Pro through the TV remote when using HDMI ARC. With the current behavior, changing the volume noticeably requires either holding the volume button down or pressing it many times. This feels like poor UX, especially compared to many other audio systems, soundbars, and AV receivers where the default volume step over HDMI ARC is larger or at least feels more responsive.


Requested feature:


Add a setting in the WiiM app for HDMI ARC volume step size, for example:


HDMI ARC volume step: 1 / 2 / 3 / 5


Or alternatively:


Separate volume step settings for:

• WiiM remote
• Physical volume knob
• HDMI ARC / TV remote

This would make volume control with a TV remote much more comfortable and consistent with other audio systems.
