During the switching between sleep and wake-up states, the speaker emits a slight popping sound!

I recently upgraded the Wiim Amp from the regular version to the Wiim Amp Ultra, but I found that the speaker of the Amp Ultra makes a slight crackling sound when switching between sleep and wake-up. The previous Amp didn't have this problem. Excuse me, what caused it? (The installation environment is the same as Amp itself.)

I don't get a popping sound or crackle with my Amp Ultra, but I do get a very quiet popping sound from my WiiM Amp when I power up from standby.

Your situation is the exact opposite of mine. My previous Wiim amplifier didn't make any popping sounds when I woke up.

My Wiim Amp Ultra makes a slight crackling sound when switching between audio sources i.e. HDMI ARC and Wi-Fi. That was the first thing I noticed after it arrived today.

Hi, that is unfortunately experienced by many users, with regular Amp, Amp Pro and Amp Ultra as we can read from several other threads on the same topic.
It is considered a "normal" behavior on the WiiM range by some senior forum members but I still think it is an issue as I read this behavior has been improved via firmware on similar Class-D network amplifiers from other brands, so maybe technically fixable. Have opened a support ticket on this but haven't received update yet
