@WiiM Support just basic customization or theming of the GUI is an aspect where the Ultra has fallen a bit short relatively to how it was initially advertisedThe base color and icon theme can be customized.
I have a ticket for this open for a long time. I don't think @WiiM Team is prioritizing this kind of issues.Would like the display to include the Album name alongside the artist and song.
Spectrum analyzer!!It has been discussed before and partly concluded that there is not enough CPU resources to run a useful analyzer.
As long as WiiM is not able to make a correctly working VU meter, I would not trust them to make a frequency display (spectrum analyzer) anyway.
Onlu #3 makes sense on the Ultra's displaySome Gifs (form internet) to get inspired to have a more realistic / vintage look

No. They are all power amp meters.Onlu #3 makes sense on the Ultra's display
I'm just talking about the style, not the technicalities. If people want analog style meters, they should just buy someNo. They are all power amp meters.
The WiiM Ultra is a digital pre-amp and shall show volume in dBFS with 0 dbfs as absolute max (all digital value possible).
I'm actually trying to use the VU meter to assist in setting input pre-gain so I get full dynamic with some room for EQ. That do however require that the meter show correct values.I'm just talking about the style, not the technicalities.
Just the 2 moving bars without the text would make even more sense since you can't read it from a distance.
