Forget Device

I have a WiiM Mini and Ultra. Up until recently I’ve been using both in my lounge.

Due to the recent Smart Preset update, I no longer need the Mini.

So I’ve given to my son for his bedroom.

Only thing, after installing the app, he can see my Ultra, and I’d rather he didn’t.

How can I get the app on my son’s phone to ‘forget’ the Ultra?

Power off the Ultra and after a short while it should still appear in the list of devices in his Wiim app but with a 'Forget' button



That will not stop him rediscovering it though at a later time.

You would have to reconfigure your network to block him accessing it
