If your TV's HDMI supports CEC, you can link the power. If you write your TV model here, a member with more knowledge may be able to answer your question.

It should, but there have been a few threads of late reporting issues with LG TVs ARC/CEC

OP, if you haven't already, it's well worth a search of this forum for LG TVs and ARC issues. There are several helpful threads. There seems to be something in LG's ARC/CEC implementation that causes problems with various brands, not just WiiM.

I have an WiiM Ultra, and getting to work with my LG CX5, was painful. It does work well now though, and has been reliable recently.

I’ve noticed LG TVs can sometimes have ARC/CEC quirks too. For a smoother setup, it might help to update your TV’s firmware and ensure HDMI-CEC is enabled in the settings.
