Hi, all.

First post. New WiiM Ultra owner here.

Hopefully, this is the correct place to post this.

Anyways,...

...for context, I've used a Logitech Harmony to convert about six remotes into one, for the longest time.

I got myself an Ultra (and Vibelink) last weekend. I didn't expect it to work with the Harmony, but was willing to put up with that.

With a bit of DDGing, it came to my attention that it would be possible to use a Raspberry Pi computer, a bit of hardware, some messing about and a bit of time patience, to get the two systems to cooperate.

Here's the relevant info and files up on Github:

It's not trivial, tidy or nice, but it absolutely DOES work.

You will need an RPi, some hardware and a (strong?) desire to implement it. To reiterate, like I say above, it's not trivial and does need a fair amount of Linux, Python and RPi knowledge.

Also, I really do not have the time or desire to improve it at all, and it's very much coded to my needs, so you're pretty much on your own. I do hope that it will help others to get it working though. I might add an output selection option at some point, but right now, that seems good enough done via my tablet or phone.

Hope that it's useful to someone, however.

Thanks.
