[IMM-6 vs IMM-6C] Comparison of measure mic for Android 10PEQ(RC)

Well, isnt it about time to go through REW with your laptop and those mics? :)

You're right, but I don't want to use my PC for private use anymore 😅, I have a 10 year old ASUS VivoMini, but I don't know if I can run REW on it...

But thanks for the advice though. I may give it a try when if one is in a mood. 😊

Good luck! It took me a few hours to learn (of course, for the simple purpose of RC only).

I pulled an old laptop out of storage and measured it with REW. 😁

(Red line = REW)

I used REW for the first time today, so I took the measurements almost with the default settings, and the error between the two measurements could be due to differences in the settings.

But I am satisfied with the result.

My personal conclusion: I think the Android +IMM-6C is a good enough measurement tool for my home audio.

Note that I could not compare the IMM-6 because I do not have a 4-pole 3.5mm extension cable...

Extra.
I also compared the IMM-6C with another USB-C microphone (BOYA BY-P4U) I have. BOYA is not as bad as I thought.

[Warning]
The phone's built-in microphone sometimes did not turn off when using the extension cable. This was fixed by plugging the cable in the opposite direction or restarting the app.
