Introducing the WiiM Edition of the Audio Pro A10 MKII and C10 MKII

Can anybody confirm whether the preset buttons can be used to activate BBC Radio stations on the Wiim Edition version of the A10? They work great on my Wiim Ultra but not on the A10 mk2 (others are reporting the same thing online).

Can confirm that the A10 mk2 sounds great for a casual listening speaker, plenty of volume when needed, good bass extension, generally well balanced sound (slight scoop in the lower end of the midrange which you could fix with a bit of parametric EQ) and great dispersion.

Would love to have this form and performance but with the Wiim software (and working preset buttons!!!). Can you guys please hurry up and release this in the UK? I'll buy one the moment they're available...

I just tested out adding a BBC Radio station to a preset on my WiiM Edition A10 MKII and it added fine, and played fine. Have you seen discussion of it not working for the WiiM Edition or the normal one?

It’s the standard version.

Audio Pro just got back to me via email almost immediately and have acknowledged it’s an issue which they’ll be fixing with a software update.

Fingers crossed but I think I’d rather have all the WiiM features.

It’d be *really* great (and sustainable) if you could pay to upgrade the software in an A10 mk2 to the WiiM Edition (assuming the only differences are software).

Easy test to confirm could be via http API just like PCB ver.
Here you go with a smattering of "xx" to obscure any ids:

Interesting to note the "_with_gc4a" added to the WiiM Pro name - that looks like Google Cast for Audio v2.0, but doesn't seem to reflected in the chromecast version number in the Google Home App...
