Introducing the WiiM Edition of the Audio Pro A10 MKII and C10 MKII

Yeah, just use the circled LR icon on the volume bar as per this group screenshot and it’ll cycle thru LR, L and R

Awesome thank you, probably shouldve played with it a bit more but my only other product is an Amp in another room so I just didn’t 🤷‍♂️

I’m guessing the persistent group feature in beta status would be important here.

I’m thinking I would like a second A10 for stereo pair in my kitchen. Is this possible? Not multi room playback but a left and right set.

Thanks

I am running two A10s in exactly this configuration Works well.
Persistent grouping features would help streamline it and make it easier to group and ungroup the pair with other speakers, but it works well as-is right now.

I have never listened to a Audio pro c10, is there anyone here that has listened to this and a Dali Kubik one sound bar?
I know they are not directly comparable but am just looking for options.

I just got a pair of these A10 Wiim's. This exactly how I have them set up. They sound great. One peeve I have is that when grouped as left and right if you hit the physical volume button on either speaker they lower/raise only that particular speaker throwing the balance off and you'll need the app to get them exactly even again. I assume that'll get fixed in some updates.

I am also a former Sonos user who absolutely loved the features of the app but my equipment became unstable recently and I'm just done with them. And the a10's easily beat my Sonos One's in SQ.

That is surely how they should behave, and I certainly wouldn't want them to behave any different, and therefore I don't see anything that needs fixing.

There should really be an option to link the volumes. If they are used as a stereo pair you would want to change the volume of both together.

Interesting. So you'd rather have to go to each volume control to adjust the master volume on a pair of L/R stereo speakers? I can understand if you're running them seperately in different areas of your home but I'm talking about running them as a seperate L/R in a room as a pair.

Regardless, a simple toggle switch in the app should be able to keep each speaker's physical volume control independent or combined and everyone would be happy.

That would be done using the master control in the WiiM Home app.
Yes, but I also want the option of using the physical buttons quickly on the speaker as intended. Having to open the app everytime I want to adjust the volume seems ridiculous when say I'm cooking dinner, etc.

Yikes, that wouldn’t go over well in our kitchen.

“Why do I have to adjust the volume on both?”

I think I’ll hold off on a second unit until they can be a persistent pair and physical volume on one adjusts the pair…

If you run a server like LMS you probably can.

For anyone interested, I added a feature request in the appropriate forum. I've asked for a toggle so everyone should be happy having either option. Good discussion👍

Hi Kmeleon, Team

Thank you all for your valuable suggestions on group volume control. We’ll be adding a toggle option: when enabled, volume adjustments will apply to the entire group; when disabled, volumes can be adjusted independently. We’re open to further ideas on enhancing this experience—for example, different toggle settings per group, such as defaulting to group volume for stereo pairs or allowing individual volume control for certain multi-room groups.

Isn’t group volume already there?
